A few days in Luxembourg

The first conference I participated in during my PhD was in Luxembourg. Of course, I stayed a bit longer and explored the Grand Duchy a bit!

This building of the Uni Luxembourg in Esch was the conference venue. This is a good suggestion for the Ruhr area: It is possible to turn old industrial areas into lively neighbourhoods.

I guess it’s prohibited to pass through here. Luxembourg’s trams can drive without overhead wires or third rails thanks to fast-charging batteries.
